Kafka and rainy Haiku

I have read pretty good translations of Iranian poetry lately - not a very unusual activity for a guy whose two best friends are Iranians, isn´t it ? The only unusual thing was that it was Persian Haiku, a form my aboslute ignorance wouldn´t expect in Farsi. An envelope from Eri in Czech Republic made me think Haiku again as it contained a portrait of Franz Kafka and a great view of Kinkaku-ji Temple in rain. Almost Haiku in postcards, isn´t it ?
